CHANDRA MALA, a spiritual project...

*****What is special about Chandra Mala?

I design and hand make all my Malas and yoga style jewellery.
I make Malas and jewellery because it brings me joy, and I hope wearing my jewellery will bring you joy too.

Chandra Mala is not only a jewellery design project and a commercial adventure: it is above all a spiritual project. My goal is to share my loving intentions with you and to help spread a bit of spirituality around us.

I dedicate a mindful effort in making each piece of jewellery unique. I consider it a spiritual and meditative exercise to create and make each of my pieces of jewellery. What makes my Malas special and powerful, is that they have been energised, and if knotted, a mantra has been said for each knot.

My strongest wish is that in your turn you get to love your own Mala, as much as I loved making it.

*****Quality is guaranteed

I handpicked the materials I use in my jewellery and quality is a priority.

*****Seamless shopping experience

I am available for all your questions and I happily accept your custom orders. It is my privilege to custom design your jewellery projects with you.

*****A gift for yourself, or for someone special…

Whether you buy my jewellery for yourself or for someone special, it comes in a gift box or a gift bag.
All my Malas come with a Mala bag to help protect them when they are not being used. These bags are handmade by me too. They come in various sizes, colours and material, styles are subject to availabilities.

*****Our name and our logo

In Sanskrit, “Chandra” is “Moon” and “Mala” is “Heavenly garland”.
Sanskrit is considered the oldest language in the world. It is the primary sacred language of Hinduism and Buddhism, it is also a philosophical language in Hinduism, Jainism, Buddhism and Sikhism, and a literary language that was used in ancient India.

On our logo, a Moon is rising above a Lotus flower, all sparkled in golden glitters.
The Lotus flower symbolises our journey to enlightenment: as its roots are in the mud, it elevates itself through the water to reach the light and become a beautiful flower on the surface of a pond. It echoes with how we can elevate ourselves, whatever our origins and paths of life, and overcome challenges to flourish and grow spiritually.

The Moon is a feminine symbol (yin), universally representing the rhythm of time as it embodies the cycle. The phases of the moon symbolise immortality and eternity, enlightenment and also the dark side of Nature herself. The Moon softly enfolds our attention, it has illumining qualities from a philosophical perspective. It is a symbol of femininity, mystery, intuition, balance, renewal, and transition.

The colour Gold symbolises illumination, love, compassion, courage, passion, magic and wisdom, all this! It is also associated with the Sun and its masculine properties (yang).

The colour pink is the combination of red and white: it blends the energetic and passionate influence of red with the purity and innocence of white. Pink symbolises unconditional love, and invites to a nurturing attitude.
